Advice from a Butterfly.
Let your true colors show.
Get out of your cocoon.
Take yourself lightly.
Look for the sweetness in life.
Take time to smell the flowers.
Catch a breeze.
We can’t all be monarchs!

Nature’s message was always there and for us to see.

Some facts about butterflies:
– their wings are transparent
– they taste with their feet
– they live on an all-liquid diet
– they live for just a few weeks (The Mourning Cloak butterfly has the longest life nearly an year)
– representations of butterflies are seen in Egyptian frescoes at Thebes, which are 3500+ years old
– Antarctica is the only continent on which they are not found

 

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly,
but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

Spiritual Trivia on Butterflies:
The butterfly is the symbol of man’s spiritual transformation. Quite often angels and fairies use butterflies to remind us of their presence, and to send signals and validations to guide us through life. “……. Orange Butterflies are symbols of encouragement, excitement, and passion. Seeing an Orange butterfly is a call to stay positive, to reconnect with joy and follow your inner bliss and excitement to positively transform your life experience……”

 

The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.
