Its “Raining Lilies”

When I woke up this morning I saw this beauty beaming in full bloom

It gave me an answer for my #WordlessWednesday

Rain lilies are as calming as the rain

Here’s a sweet video I made on the busy bee and the rain lilies. Don’t forget to watch it!

Flowers add color to our world

The potted beauties. My sunshine on a rainy day!

The harbinger of joy is awaited every year

A white flower grows in quietness; let your tongue become that flower

Growing wild in the hills; at my friend’s home in Pangot

The earth laughs in flowers

May the flowers remind us why the rain was necessary

Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature

Irresistible beauty!!

More flowers your way:

Delhi Spring: Rose
Delhi Spring: Daisy Dazzle
Delhi Spring: Tulips! Tulips! Tulips

Don’t wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul

  1. Rain lilies are indeed a treasure. I’m not too sure if I’ve seen a yellow, though, maybe, maybe not.

I wonder if we were to list the characteristics of every flower, each one would be uniquely and exceptionally different from the other. And will have something or the other to love about. Slowly but surely I’m realising, I can’t really pin point and proclaim so-and-so is my favourite flower. They are all stunning in their own way.

Just like us humans, distinctively different and unique, yet the heart remains the same.
And we can choose to be united in our hearts, if we wish to be, just like the flowers. They don’t compete with each other for their goodness and beauty. Just bloom in each others togetherness.

    🙂

Thanks for sharing these treasures, Monika. I love the excitement in your voice as you begin the post. Thank you for making #WW special, always.

  4. Oh my gosh, your flowers are so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I don’t grow flowers on my property because I’m allergic to bees and so is my son. So what ever precautions I can take that’s what I have to do. At least I can enjoy others. Have a wonderful day!

  5. Hello Minika.

I found your blog by a search. Your comment on my own blog does not link to your own. I do love your colourful flowers.

    And I love that initial sentence – “A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world;
    it just blooms”

  6. Love these gorgeous rain lillies, Monika! In the hills, where I grew up, we used to have rain lilies growing everywhere, even by the roadsides on the college campus where we lived and they looked so pretty!
Great video, Monika and thanks for refreshing those cherished memories once again. So lovely to see you join us this week. Happy #ww and a lovely week ahead. 🙂

    • Oh yes Esha they grow wild in the hills and add so much joy, beauty and color.

A few clicks are from the hills and rest from the balcony garden

I always look forward to the potted ones blooming with the touch of summer rains.

What fun growing up in the hills ……. I wish to live there, in the lap of nature!
