Flight of the Purple Heron

The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply that they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.

Unclose your mind. You are not a prisoner. You are a bird in flight, searching the skies for dreams.

Dream high, beyond the sky; no matter wings so small, keep vision bright;
just dare to learn, for you are born to fly.

Sometimes, things go wrong, shit happens but life goes on.

Flying starts from the ground. The more grounded you are, the higher you fly.

One from my home’s balcony

……..Purple Heron | Ardea Purpurea is a wader from the heron family. It is a secretive bird, spending less time out in the open than the grey heron and tends to remain hidden in reed beds. It is most active at dawn and dusk. It is a large heron with rusty head and streaky neck…….

I was delighted to photograph the purple heron in my recent visit to Shiv Nadar University in Dadri, UP. All the images barring the last one are from there. Though, the first time I saw it was from my home’s balcony!
