Birding: Indian Silverbill

A beautiful pair of Indian Silverbills clicked from my home’s balcony (02.10.2020)

A few days before I saw them from my balcony for the first time, I had come across the sweetest pair of Indian Silverbills in a nursery. The following photos are from there

I was thrilled with this chance encounter with these passerine recently

Unfortunately I was not carrying my camera; the mobile was my only resource

These two stuck together oblivious to the world around

Clean water available for them — for drinking & splashing

“Do you love me because I’m beautiful, or am I beautiful because you love me?“

The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

The eyes give away if you are in love

Courtship ritual — allopreening

When I had sighted these beauties and shared a photo post on them in the beginning of August; I had wished for sighting these sweethearts from my balcony.

“Well miracles happen if you believe in their magical ways.”

Within a week I spotted them while bird watching from my balcony, and how! Carrying nesting material, which means they had decided to home near mine.
